About Us
Founded in 1977 by Arnie Davis, and formally known as Davis Shoe Therapeutics, the Davis Foot Comfort Center is staffed with an exceptionally talented team of foot and footwear professionals. Our team includes a Podiatrist, Certified Pedorthists, Orthopedic Shoemakers, and Orthotic Technicians, as well as friendly staff to answer your questions, schedule your appointments, and assist you with third-party billing.
What We Do
As Pedorthists, we know feet. And we know footwear. At our comfortable facility, we offer personalized solutions to chronic foot and footwear-related problems, ranging from inexpensive shoe modifications or inserts to designing custom-made shoes from scratch.

How We Work
Private Pay or 3rd Party Payment
Private Pay
Most people are referred by a physician with a Rx indicating a diagnosis, objectives, and a suggested pedorthic modality. A Rx may not be necessary in some cases.
- Call us to schedule an appointment for a consultation or to place an order.
- The consultation charge of $75 is waived if you place an order.
- All custom-made products require a 75% deposit when the order is placed. Balance is due upon dispensing.
- Included in the price are 2 follow-up adjustment appointments within 2 months, if necessary. Additional adjustments may or may not be chargeable depending upon the situation.

Third Party
The following agencies routinely cover our services:
Kaiser Permanente: Check your membership plan to see if you're covered.

Medicare: We will bill Medicare on your behalf after you pay us in full for your order. Medicare allowable reimbursement will be sent directly to you.
Workers Compensation: After your initial appointment, we bill your carrier; however, payment must first be received from your WC provider before production can begin.
Veterans Administration: See your doctor at the VA and ask about your footwear options.
